The Lower Seal WindBlocker™ fills the gap between the cart body and the bottom of the windshield. Notice how it wraps all the way down the sides of the cart.

The Upper Seal WindVisor™ attaches to the top of the windshield and creates a nearly air-tight seal when the windshield is closed. It is easily installed - and quickly removed if desired.

Being a DoorWorks™ owner since 2001, we solved a "problem" with the enclosure and sold the manufacturer on the absolute necessity of these DoorGuards™. For a golf cart, the doors HAVE to open to the back of the cart. The only problem with this is if the cart is moving and the door rubs against the back tire, a black swirl mark can happen to the door fabric. It easily cleans off, but if it happens over and over, a hole can be rubbed into the door fabric. The manufactuer will not warrantee such holes. The DoorGuards™ eliminate this worry. They are made from 3/4" powder coated square tubing and easily bolt to the door frame after the fabric is installed. They are mainly needed for 2 passenger golf carts.

There are obviously some gaps that are created by the doors on this type of enclosure. For most applications, those small gaps are not an issue. For those who use their carts for reasons other than just golf, you may want to consider adding this kit to your purchase. All new DoorWorks™ enclosures manufactured for the 2012 season have Velcro™ presewn on the inside of the fabric (indicated by the arrows). Velcro™ backed Rubber Weatherstripping is simply attached to the Velcro™ on the enclosure. This does a very nice job sealing the gaps on the leading and trailing edges of the door frames. We are going through our first winter season of golf with the Weatherstripping "Retrofit" kit and so far, we like what it does.
