ABOUT THE PRODUCT - Doors On - Doors Off - Doors Secured Open
That pretty much sums up the DoorWorks™ enclosure. It's versatility is unmatched. It's performance and functionality is unbeatable. On cold weather days, leave the doors on the cart for your entire round. We guarantee cold weather golf to be more enjoyable with this enclosure. No zippers, no flaps, no bungee cords - just smooth, easy opening access to your cart. On cold mornings where the temperatures become milder as your round continues, you STILL leave the doors on the cart, but as the temps rise, you can quickly and easily secure the doors in the open position where they are not even used. On summer days where the doors are not needed, you can easily pop them off the hinges and leave them in the cart barn.

The same features apply whether your cart has 2 seats, 4 seats or 6 seats!

FABRICS & COLORS

DoorWorks™ offers enclosures in three types of fabric - Sunbrella™, polyester and marine grage vinyl. Each of these fabrics is extremely durable and will provide many years of quality performance. The fabrics are easy to clean and nearly maintenance free. A water hose from time to time will keep your enclosure fabric looking new for many years and soap and water will keep the clear vinyl looking great for years. As far as durability - none of the fabrics are superior to the other.

Sunbrella™ - the leading fabric manufacturer for the outdoor furniture industry - is by far - the most popular choice of our customers. Sunbrella™ is a cloth fabric and provides a very impressive look and feel to the enclosure.

Solution dyed acrylic polyester was added to the line of choices in 2008. It is also a cloth fabric and is offered at a slightly lower price than the Sunbrella™ brand. The polyester is basically the same fabric as the Sunbrella™ without paying for the Sunbrella™ name.

The original fabric offered on the first DoorWorks™ enclosures - Marine Grade Vinyl - is an extremely durable fabric that is virtually impossible to tear. It is a "rip-stop" vinyl. It is the least expensive choice of fabric offered - but don't let the price fool you - this vinyl looks great and lasts a long time!

DoorWorks™ purchasers make their fabric / color choice mainly because of looks. The Sunbrella™ and polyester fabrics have a more expensive look to them. Cart owners with relatively new carts, will typically purchase one of these fabrics to enhance the look of their cart. Marine grade vinyl choosers do so if their carts are a little older, and cost / practicality is more of a factor in their decision.

We tell people that call us, "If you had never seen the cloth fabrics and all you ever had was a DoorWorks™ enclosure with marine grade vinyl, you'd be thrilled with your purchase because the product just works so well. But someday down the road, if you saw the DoorWorks™ enclosure in one of the cloth fabrics, you'd probably wish you had made your purchase in one of the cloths. It just has a more expensive look and feel that most people prefer."

ABOUT THE CONTOURED COVER

Premium quality fabrics with double polished 20 gauge clear vinyl windows provide an attractive and useable enclosure. The cover design is contoured around the basket and leaves the rear fenders open for other accessories while providing dry storage for the existing basket. The fabric panels easily slip over the powder-coated steel frame to form a nicely fitting enclosure for your cart.

NEED HELP CHOOSING A COLOR?

Our recommendation for choosing a color is to choose a high contrasting color that compliments the color of your cart. The cart manufacturers have - in many cases - already done this for you. Does your cart have pin-striping? If it does, that is probably the best color choice for your cart.

Is your cart a dark color? Then, in most cases, a lighter color fabric will look best. If your cart is light in color, then a darker color fabric usually looks the best.

The most popular color that we sell is a very neutral color and it is the Toast Sunbrella. It is a deep tan. This color goes well with just about every cart color. If you still need help selecting a color, call us. We've seen just about every combination of enclosure color on every color cart.

SIMPLE FRAME WORK
HOW THE FRAME WORKS
The frame attaches to the cart via existing bolts. Simple hand tools are all that's needed for assembly. The sturdy, powder coated steel frame attaches or detaches in a matter of minutes. Once the frame is attached to the cart, the fabric then slips over the frame. QUALITY AND INGENUITY! This is truly an awesome product!
NO DRILLING - ON MOST CARTS
NO ZIPPERS ON MOST CARTS
The photograph shown below is a ClubCar Precedent. The purpose of the photo is to show you what the framework looks like without the fabric. The frame attaches to the cart using factory bolts - such as - handhold bolts, roof bolts, frame bolts, etc. THERE IS NO DRILLING ON TWO PASSENGER CARTS to attach the frame to your cart. Once the frame is attached, the fabric is easily attached to the metal frame of the Enclosure.

INSTALLATION VIDEOS FOR 2 PASSENGER CARTS
These Installation Videos will guide you step by step through the printed manuals. They are invaluable to someone who has never installed a DoorWorks™
enclosure and will give you the confidence to install the enclosure yourself. With some simple handtools, your manual, and these videos, just about
anyone can install a DoorWorks™ enclosure in just a few hours. We regret that videos are not available for all the cart models. However, the installation for all
cart models is very similar in many ways. You could learn the basic principles of installation from just about any of the videos.

INSTALLATION VIDEOS FOR 4 PASSENGER CARTS

The installation video Chapters correspond to the Steps in the printed installation manuals. All the 4 passenger carts are very similar in their installation procedures. When they differ, the differences are cited below. There are no installation videos for 6 passenger carts.

VIDEO CHAPTERS

Identify the Header Bars
(Header Bars for Club Car DS Pre-2000 and Precedent are different than what is in the video. Refer to your written manual.

Tap End Caps into ends of Header Bars (Applies to cart models with 3/4" square tube Headers only.)

Add T Bolts to Channel in cart roof

Install the Header Bars - Position the front of the Header Bar according to each cart model. Refer to your printed manual for details. The position of the Header Bar is critical to a successful installation of your Enclosure. UPDATE: All kits now contain HEX HEAD bolts to attach the Headers instead of Phillips Head screws as seen in the video.

Install the 1 1/2" Hex Head screws that are used to attach the Door Posts to the Headers.
